Lavender Melange is a Small Business founded in 2019 in Washington State. I started Lavender Melange as an Online Vintage Jewelry store and have expanded to include Vintage Jewelry, Sterling Silver Jewelry, Home and Lifestyle products. Before Lavender Melange was officially founded, I sold products at several local Farmers Markets that blossomed into an Online Retail Business.
I am a third generation Vintage Collector who curates a beautiful selection of Vintage Jewelry. I love the hunt for totally unique pieces that will hopefully become legacy pieces in your wardrobe. A lot of the vintage Jewelry available at Lavender Melange is Southwestern and Mexican in origin. I believe this region offers some of the highest quality Turquoise and other stones that are mined here in America. The Southwest is home to some of the Best Jewelry Artisans in the country. I have a small connection to the Southwest, I was born in Arizona before moving to Washington State when I was young. I received my degree from the University of Arizona and spent several years in my young adult life there.
One of my priorities when sourcing jewelry are unique stones and combinations of stone. I love offering uncommon stones such as Moss Agate, Wild Horse and Montana Agates. Another of my priorities is a Good Quality Standard. I think to myself, is this piece a good quality that I would wear? If not, then I don't sell it.
I also offer jewelry that falls under current trends and Contemporary pieces that have been made by me using a combination of Sterling Silver and Upcycled Materials.
I have a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree and consider myself to be a creative. The majority of the Home and Lifestyle products I offer have been Hand Sewn by me. I love choosing Fabric prints and combinations as well as the satisfaction of making objects from just a few pieces of fabric. I also love the creative process that is behind every New Product Launch. I hope you enjoy the Lavender Melange experience.
